Your Role
As a Route Planner in Portbury, you will be an essential part of a small, dynamic team dedicated to keeping our network running smoothly. Your primary responsibility will be to optimize delivery routes, ensuring we meet our operational targets while providing exceptional service to our customers.
In this fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, you will:
* Adapt to unexpected challenges and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
* Collaborate closely with depot operational colleagues to review and refine delivery schedules for maximum efficiency.
* Analyze data from various systems to identify areas for improvement.
What You Bring
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Experience in planning with a solid knowledge of the area.
* A good understanding of driver working time regulations.
* Familiarity with transport planning software (a plus, but not essential) and confidence in using Microsoft Excel and SAP.
* An enthusiastic, can-do attitude with the ability to think logically and overcome challenges.
