Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced stonemason to join our workshop team. This role involves fabricating and finishing stone components for luxury kitchen worktops and custom bathroom surfaces. It is a workshop-based position with a focus on high-quality, detailed work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fabrication of kitchen worktops, bathroom vanity tops, and other custom stone pieces
* Cutting, shaping, polishing, and finishing stone (granite, quartz, marble, etc.)
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and templates
* Operating hand tools and machinery with accuracy and care
* Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
* Ensuring all work meets the company's high standards for quality and finish
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a stonemason in a workshop environment
* Skilled in working with natural and engineered stone
* Ability to understand and work from templates and technical drawings
* Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to safe working practices
