Job Description
Management Accountant responsibilities:
7. Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
8. Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the organisation
9. Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability
10. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making
11. Collaborate with department heads to track financial performance against budgets
12. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
13. Assist with year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors as required
14. Continuously improve financial processes and systems for efficiency
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
15. A qualification in Accounting & Finance
16. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
17. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills
18. Sound knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations
19. Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
20. Proactive and organised approach to managing multiple tasks
