Spire The Monteifore Hospital in Hove is seeking an experienced and highly organised Imaging Administrator to join our dedicated Imaging team.
This is a bank, opportunity ideal for someone with a background in healthcare administration who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting diagnostic services, ensuring smooth patient journeys and efficient departmental operations.
As an Imaging Administrator you will assist the multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary patient administration within the radiology department, providing an efficient bookings service and operating within set protocols. Ensuring accurate completion of all appropriate audit materials and issue of radiology reports.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Contact patients and arrange radiology appointments liaising with other departments as appropriate
2. Establish and maintain communication with people on routine care matters
3. Input patient data on to hospital and radiology information systems
4. Management of e-mails enquiries and referrals in a timely and professional manner
5. Maintain administrative duties /photocopying of documentation
6. Transfer and deliver radiology reports to appropriate destinations
7. Efficiently and Accurately book and record patient details and appointments on the system via telephone, face to face and referral letter.
8. To greet, welcome and provide any necessary assistance to all patients, consultants and visitors.
9. To Register all new or follow up Patients.
10. Provide and receive Patient information, ensuring that all information is provided, received and recorded in accordance with the Data Protection Act, Information Governance and other Spire Policies
Who we're looking for:
11. The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills
12. Previous and relevant experience in a multi-skilled, patient support role
13. Someone who is highly organised and able to manage workload.
14. Experienced and proficient in the use of PC, to include Microsoft packages
15. Someone who works well as part of a team
Working hours: Monday - Saturday between 08:00 - 20:00
