MET Technician Vacancy - Accident Repair Centre in Luton
1. Position: MET Technician
2. Location: Luton
3. Basic Salary: Up to £20 an hour + Bonus
4. Quarterly Bonus Scheme
5. Working Hours: 9 hour days with flexible hours between 6:30am - 5:00pm

My client is a growing Accident Repair Centre based within Luton. They're currently on the lookout for an experienced MET Technician to join their bodyshop team.
They take pride in their extensive network of repair facilities around the country. Each facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by skilled professionals dedicated to delivering top-notch automotive repair services.
Duties of a MET Technician:
7. Carry out all mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs.
8. Dismantling, fault-finding & diagnostic work.
9. Re-assembly with new parts as required.
10. Inspections and testing.
11. Identify faults or work that is found to be required, or considered to be advisable in the interests of safety.
12. To carry-out road testing of vehicles when required in a safe and legal way as instructed, checking for road worthiness.
Requirements of an MET Technician:
13. Experience working with mechanical and electrical car components
14. Eye for Detail
15. Quality Awareness
16. Communication Skills
17. Multi-Tasking
18. ATA would be advantageous but not essential.
