Service Team Lead- North Aberdeen
The Role
The Service Team Lead will administer, coordinate and efficiently operate the Ad-Hoc pool of technicians and the onshore service technicians to provide a call off service to our clients for a variety of Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Ventilation works such as repairs and breakdown response, new installations, F-Gas checks, fault-finding and surveys. The candidate must have a pro-active approach to Safety, be diligent, with high level of attention to detail, responsive, organised with good time management skills and have excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
* To ensure provision of a quality service to clients by ensuring compliance requirements are met.
* Promote service capabilities to existing and prospective new customers for example refrigerant leak testing compliance, & Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Repairs/Maintenance, project works etc.
* Provide technical guidance and support to the field services teams in delivering a high-quality service that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
* To collate, prepare and submit all pre and post work related documentation to a professional standard, including technical reports, recommendations, workpack, packing lists, delivery notes etc.
* Be responsive and pro-active to enquiries and requests from customers provision of technical or diagnostic help and advice to customers or staff over the telephone, by email and at times in face-to-face meetings.
* Discuss potential new works with external and internal customers, prepare job costing and quotations.
* Create material take-offs for job orders ensuring materials are ordered on time to meet the planned schedule and arrange material delivery to offshore/worksite.
* Monitor job costs against budget ensuring costs are controlled to maintain margins.
* Investigate, review and solve customer problems or complaints quickly and effectively
* Monitor and evaluate performance and KPI’s of all work scopes associated with installation, commissioning, repair or maintenance activities undertaken by business.
* To ensure that offshore personnel are effectively and sufficiently briefed prior to undertaking a work scope and understand clearly the requirements of on-time reporting and completion of documentation post job execution.
* To assist in the hiring and selection of new recruits into the services team, executing inductions and providing the focal point of contact with the company.
* To occasionally supervise at site on complex or challenging work scopes.
* To promote at all time safety in the workplace and ensure all personnel understand the importance of safety and environmental compliance.
* To maintain records and files and generally ensure good housekeeping is maintained in both electronic and hard copy.
* Actively contribute and work towards HSEQ goals, objectives, targets and initiatives.

Salary- circa £50K
