About you:
Are you a trained Senior Pharmacy Assistant seeking a locum position? Medacs Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our NHS client in Chelsea who has experience in NHS Technical services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To aseptically dispense sterile cytotoxic products and other sterile injectables
2. Assembly of aseptic products in preparation for aseptic dispensing (chemotherapy and intravenous medicines)
Essential Qualifications:
We are looking for an experienced and highly Pharmacy Assistant (Band 3) with:
3. Recent relevant BAND 3/4 Technician with experience in NHS Technical services
4. Training undertaken within a hospital environment
5. Experience of preparing cytotoxic products
6. Pharmacy labelling and stock control systems
7. Understanding of procurement methods
8. Adherence to and implementation of procedures
9. Full UK right to work.
