Support Worker - Day shifts
Pay rate: £14.18 per hour flat rate
Shift pattern: 36 hours per week - Day shifts - 8:00am - 20:00pm.
The successful applicant will be available to work full time, hold a full UK driving licence, and have previous experience working within mental health services.
Were seeking upbeat, engaging support workers to join a mixed-gender team supporting a young person in Chesterfield on a 2:1 basis. They have mild learning disabilities, schizophrenic personality disorder, ADHD, mental health needs, and can display physically challenging behaviours.
They enjoy camping in the woods, fitness, music, and visiting local pubs.
Youll support daily living tasks while promoting independence, including helping with financial management (all spending requests go through the team, which can be challenging). Youll also play a key role in supporting their mental health and responding appropriately to any challenging behaviours.
