CLUSTER DIRECTOR OF SALES – EAST About Montcalm Collection The City (East) cluster of the Montcalm Collection is home to some of our most dynamic and brand-aligned properties, strategically located at the intersection of London’s financial, tech, and creative districts. These distinctive hotels blend historic charm with contemporary design and global brand partnerships to attract a high-value mix of corporate clients, digital entrepreneurs, and modern urban travellers. From the design-led Montcalm East, Autograph Collection at the gateway of Shoreditch, to the grand and energetic Montcalm Royal London House overlooking Finsbury Square, each property offers a unique experience. The Montcalm Brewery London City, a Grade II-listed former brewery near Moorgate, is poised for a transformative refurbishment, while the adjacent Montcalm Brewery Townhouse provides a boutique, residential-style retreat for long-stay guests and VIPs. Overview Montcalm is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Sales to lead the commercial vision and sales performance across a distinctive cluster of luxury properties in East London. With two hotels proudly part of (or soon joining) Marriott’s prestigious Autograph Collection, this role demands a seasoned sales leader with deep brand insight, strong alignment with Marriott standards, and a proactive drive in corporate and MICE segments. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in cultivating business from key sectors including finance, technology, legal, and the creative industries, while elevating Montcalm’s presence as a refined and forward-thinking hospitality brand. Key Responsibilities · Develop and execute a tailored commercial sales strategy across the City (East) cluster, with a strong focus on corporate, MICE, and (GDS) agency-driven business · Lead, motivate, and support the sales team to meet revenue targets and account growth goals · Build and maintain key relationships with corporates, TMCs, event planners, and global distribution partners · Collaborate with Revenue, Marketing, and Hotel Operations to align commercial activity with brand positioning and profitability targets · Activate and leverage Marriott Autograph Collection tools, systems, and distribution networks to drive qualified demand · Represent the City (East) cluster at industry events, trade shows, Marriott showcases, and internal commercial activations · Play a central role in the repositioning and relaunch strategies for Montcalm Royal London House and The Brewery · Deliver regular sales reporting, market insights, and strategic recommendations to support commercial leadership Key Attributes: · Proven track record in senior hotel sales leadership, ideally within lifestyle, branded, or multi-property contexts · Strong commercial understanding of the City of London and East London markets · Experienced in leading high-performing teams and developing sales strategies that align with brand values and business goals · Familiarity with Marriott systems, brand standards, and global account management processes preferred · Relationship-driven and confident in engaging with corporate stakeholders, industry bodies, and brand partners · Analytical, commercially focused, and collaborative – able to work cross-functionally to deliver shared success Working Conditions: · Full-time position, with flexibility required to accommodate the demands of the role.
