What you'll do:
Job Summary
Business partner with Plant controller and Plant managers, ensuring business processes are adhered to
and leads real-time financial performance monitoring, predictability and improvements.
Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the region. Reports to the GEIS EMEA FP&A Lead Operations.
Job Responsibilities
* Support with Financial budgeting, forecasting and planning for GEIS EMEA manufacturing operations.
* Analysing previous budgets /forecasts and performing variance analysis to explain discrepancies.
* Contribute towards the annual budget round process, for example through analysis of data and preparation of budget meetings.
* Support with month end reporting and analysis on key P&L line items.
* Understand and become change agents of any new processes and tools that are being implemented.
* Review and analyse P&L's and general ledger account balances to ensure accuracy.
* Work collaboratively and analytically with other members of the FP&A team and GEIS finance community.
* Plant support defining and understanding standard cost for the new year.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and complete work project assignment within specified deadlines.
* Contribute to process improvement to support standardization and simplification.
* Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
* Other ad hoc support to the GEIS FP&A team
Qualifications:
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA part qualified or qualified by experience within appropriate degree
Skills:
* Previous experience within a manufacturing plant.
* The annual planning/budgeting process, including experience consolidating inputs from multiple locations in multiple currencies will be an advantage.
* Have a strong background in product manufacturing, understanding machine run rates, production capacity, operational KPIs etc
* Advanced excel and modelling capabilities.
* Knowledge of SAP, Encore, Hyperion HFM beneficial.
* Experience of business partnering and working with challenging stakeholders.
* Strong communication and problem solving skills
