I am looking for someone reliable and trustworthy with a caring and gentle nature to join our team to help look after my 19-month-old special baby boy. You must have the ability to build good relationships, be easy going, always carry positive energy and be punctual.
My little boy has a rare genetic condition which leads to limiting his mobility, he has a tracheostomy and is on a ventilator most of the time.
He is a happy, smiley little boy, very alert and observant. He loves interaction and being spoken to, sitting in his swing, watching his sensory lights. He cannot talk but tries to. He interacts through his monitor numbers, facial expressions, and cries when unhappy.
Care tasks will include:
* Observing throughout the night
* Repositioning him
* Doing personal care
* Suctioning
* Giving feed (NG fed)
* Administering medication
* Filling in daily records
Full training will be given. An enhanced DBS is required which will be arranged and paid for by the employer.
Staff benefits: 5.6 weeks holidays per year (inclusive of bank holidays); work-place pension scheme (optional).
Rate of pay: £14 per h
12 hour nigths shifts required some full and part time positions available. To include and weekend hours. Must be flexible to change hours if needed.
