A major Public Sector organisation is seeking an experienced Strategic Relationship Manager to lead high-level partnerships across complex construction and commercial programmes.
This is a senior, strategically focused role requiring exceptional stakeholder management, commercial awareness, and the ability to operate confidently across government and industry environments.
You'll act as a trusted advisor and relationship lead, working across senior leadership teams, suppliers, delivery partners and government stakeholders to strengthen strategic partnerships, improve outcomes, and support long‑term programme delivery.
The Role
* Lead and manage strategic relationships across complex construction and commercial environments
* Influence senior stakeholders across government, supply chain and partner organisations
* Drive collaborative working, governance and long-term partnership performance
* Identify risks, opportunities and delivery challenges proactively
* Translate complex information into clear strategic insight for decision-makers
* Support commercial and delivery objectives within large-scale infrastructure or construction programmes
* Operate autonomously within a high-profile, outcome-focused environment
Requirements
* Proven experience in Strategic Relationship Management, senior stakeholder engagement or partnership leadership roles
* Strong construction sector and commercial experience, including knowledge of supply chains and delivery environments
* Experience working within or alongside government/public sector organisations
* Strong understanding of governance, assurance and accountability frameworks
* Excellent influencing and communication skills with credibility at senior/executive level
* Ability to manage competing priorities across complex stakeholder landscapes
* Commercially astute, proactive and solutions-focused
* NEC contract knowledge highly desirable
