The overall aim of this role is to help create attractive, safe and sustainable communities for our customers to live in. As part of this, you’ll make sure we offer them good quality and "value for money" services. You’ll soon get to know and understand who our customers are and be able to identify the support they may need to keep their tenancies. You’ll also recognise when you’ll need to make referrals to the tenancy support team so that things are put in place for customers to keep & maintain their tenancies.

Resilience, assertiveness and the ability to work under pressure are important in this role. You’ll have demonstrable experience of working with the general public face‑to‑face, or in a public services environment. An awareness/understanding of the social housing sector, and experience in housing management/law would be an advantage.
As this role involves travel, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use is a requirement. Business mileage will be paid. This offer is subject to a satisfactory DBS check. While you'll have a designated patch, all neighbourhood officers are expected to occasionally provide cover/support to other areas when needed.
