This role requires weekly attendance at our Kirkby Lonsdale office. We're looking for local candidates from Lancashire or Manchester who are comfortable with the commute.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. The business is scaling quickly on a journey to £10m in Revenue and the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the finance function along with the Co-Founder. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Xero.
This is a hybrid role with the successful candidate expected to be in the office up to 3 times per week (depending on location).

Financial Planning
o Preparing annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial models
o Monitoring performance against budget (variance analysis) and offering insights to leadership
o Supporting decision-making with financial data and scenario planning
o Monitoring day to day cash positions ensuring sufficient liquidity
o Managing payment terms with supplier and ensuring customers are paying line with credit terms
o Assist with supply chain forecasting ensuring we are well stocked for all SKU’s and packaging
o Producing monthly management accounts with commentary on performance ensuring we are analysing trends and making recommendations based on data
o Tracking KPIs relevant to the drinks/food manufacturing sector (e.g., o Providing regular financial updates to directors and key department heads.
Financial Controls & Compliance
o Implementing and maintaining robust financial processes and internal controls.
o Managing VAT returns, PAYE, and year-end audit preparation.
Bookkeeping
o Credit Control
o Management of company payroll
Ideally you will be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, however part qualified will be considered and support provided through final exams
• Proficient in using accounting systems, we use Xero.
• Proficient in excel and all Microsoft apps.
