You’ll play a key role in developing bespoke engineering solutions — working closely with clients and internal teams from initial sales support and design, through installation and commissioning, to aftercare and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the design and development of material processing and finishing equipment using SolidWorks. * Provide technical input during the sales process and support customer-specific proposals. * Manage projects through the full lifecycle — from concept, design, and manufacture to installation and handover. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, service, and sales. * Ensure all designs meet technical, safety, and quality standards. About You: * Proven experience as a Design Engineer or Project Engineer in a related engineering field. * Strong 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks essential). * Excellent project management and communication skills. * Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent) preferred. * A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
