About the role
There is a fixed term position available as a Support Officer within our Shared Lives Lancashire Service, supporting and monitoring our carers and the people supported within the service. Shared Lives is rated 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission and matches people with learning difficulties, physical disabilities or older vulnerable people with Shared Lives Carers recruited and trained by the service. Our Shared Lives Service offers the people we support the opportunity to live in a family environment, allowing them to develop their skills, be valued, involved in their community and gain confidence to become as independent as possible.
