The School of Life Sciences (SoLS), University of Nottingham seeks to make a permanent teaching and curriculum leadership appointment of an Assistant Professor in Biomedical Sciences.
We are looking for an outstanding educator and scientist, with an ambitious vision, who is passionate about teaching and has a collegial attitude. Your teaching will encompass a range of areas within human physiology, nutrition, anatomy and pathology or data analysis and bioinformatics and will be delivered to students at all levels on the Biomedical Sciences degrees (BSc and MSci) and other related degrees.
You will have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant biomedical sciences subject area and a successful track record of achievement in education. You will have experience of delivering teaching and assessment in higher education within one or more relevant Biomedical Sciences areas. You will have experience of academic leadership in Higher Education (e.g., module leadership, assessments, admissions, or equivalent responsibilities) and a commitment to high quality, innovative, and inclusive teaching, underpinned by engagement with pedagogical scholarship.
