Head of Adult Education and Business Professions We are looking for a Head of Adult Education and Business Professions to join our Adult Education and Business Professions Team. This is a full time 35 hours per week, permanent role offering a salary of £45,643 to £52,886 per annum. Why Join Us? Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities: The Role As Head of Adult Education and Business Professions, you will take overall responsibility for the leadership, quality, and development of this area. You will be instrumental in continuously driving outstanding teaching, curriculum innovation, and student achievement and experience. Your responsibilities will include: To effectively lead high quality teaching learning and assessment based on best practice pedagogical approaches for all types of provision To ensure all quality assurance and improvement procedures and systems are effectively implemented within the area of responsibility. Line manage and develop staff within the designated department Monitoring the effectiveness of the learner journey including induction, communication channels, teaching, and IAG provision Skills and Qualifications: Hold or commit to achieving a formal management qualification within three years. Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject and a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed or equivalent) Full curriculum knowledge with regards from Entry level through to Higher Education Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Knowledge of Liverpool City Region business growth opportunities and Skills for Growth agreements and how skills are key to these opportunities.
