About the Role
We are looking to recruit a dedicated, experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our fabulous team at Combe Lea. Combe Lea is a purpose built 30 bedded residential care home. We support older adults living with varying degrees of frailty and a diagnosis of Dementia in a homely environment.
Combe Lea is situated in Midsomer Norton, Somerset and is based over 3 floors. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be working in a supervisory position supporting the Registered Manager with maintaining exceptional high levels of care and support to the residents.
You will be responsible for managing shifts over a 4-week rolling rota which includes alternative weekends and Bank Holidays. This is a permanent role of 33 hours per weekdays, 12 hour shifts with one hour break.
Your duties will include dealing with the day-to-day management of Combe Lea, supervision of staff, rota cover, undertaking audits and staff development.
You will be required to have a good knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations, following policy and procedure in a proactive manner.
