Pegasus Group welcomes applications for our 2026 Graduate Training Scheme. Join our dynamic Heritage team in our Leeds office to work on a variety of projects for diverse clients. The scheme offers valuable exposure and a supportive training environment to start your career.
Note: Applications are for graduates; due to government legislation, we are unable to fulfil remuneration requirements for Graduate level and cannot accept applications from individuals who hold a student or Graduate Visa. We continue to support colleagues requiring work sponsorship at later career stages.
What we are looking for
We are looking for candidates to hold an undergraduate or master’s degree in subjects relevant to built heritage, building conservation, archaeology or other related fields.
We are seeking graduates who can demonstrate:
* A logical and analytical approach
* Great problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to use your own initiative and think creatively
* Understanding of the UK planning system, British history and archaeology
Work experience in Heritage would be advantageous but is not essential as you’ll be learning your new role on the job with support from our Graduate Training Scheme.
Responsibilities
As a Graduate Heritage Consultant, you will be involved in supporting a variety of projects related to the historic built environment, including analysis of historic fabric, archaeological potential and aspects relating to setting. You will gain experience with the preparation of heritage assessments, research and other consultancy work, and you will learn to provide professional advice to clients, local planning authorities and other statutory bodies across a range of sectors and clients.
