Performs routine and established functions, such as proofreading of technical reports and specifications, operating a slam bar, or drawing water samples. Plots data and draws simple curves and graphs, either by hand or by using computer programs. Conducts simple or repetitive tests on environmental media, e.g. pH or electrical conductivity. Makes simple measurements and observations; may make preliminary recommendations concerning the acceptance of materials or workmanship in clear-cut situations. Performs job-related errands. Makes copies of technical reports and plans. Performs arithmetic computations by substituting values in specified formulas or by entering data in computer spreadsheets.
