SEN Teaching Assistant – WN6
We are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a welcoming school based in the WN6 area.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
The Role:
* Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEN
* Supporting learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing
* Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom support
* Implementing EHCP strategies and individual support plans
* Encouraging independence, confidence, and engagement
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school or care setting)
* Patient, empathetic, and resilient
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Willingness to support personal care if required
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
