Compliance Coordinator (Rail) Location: North of England Contract Type: Permanent Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday What you’ll do: The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all activities, processes, and systems adhere to legal regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies. This role involves maintaining quality standards, supporting audits, facilitating communication, managing data, and ensuring the seamless execution of compliance related activities across various teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Assurance Reporting - Oversee and implement assurance procedures to maintain compliance with Network Rail standards and GC procedures. Track and analyse data for continuous improvement and highlight discrepancies. • Audits and Inspections - Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. • Compliance Management - Ensure alignment of all activities with industry regulations, company procedures and planning processes. Collaborate with the rail planning team and wider rail and infrastructure teams to maintain compliance. • Teamwork and Communication - Maintain effective communication with various project stakeholders, including project managers, contractors, clients, and regulatory authorities. • Systems and Data Management - Utilise various systems and platforms to gather, collate, and manage large volumes of data. Provide clear, actionable data for Contract Managers, Commercial Managers, and leadership teams. • Administration - Manage inboxes, handle project updates, and oversee administrative tasks and document management. • Client Reporting - Provide the wider organisation with comprehensive weekly updates and necessary documentation, ensuring transparent and effective communication. Support planners in maintaining consistent project progress and alignment with client expectations. Prepare regular reports on assurance and compliance, commercial performance, and key commercial metrics. • Communication - Write, edit, and distribute content for various channels, including press releases, newsletters, website, and social media What we’re looking for: Essential Knowledge and Skills: • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, track progress, and adapt plans as needed. • Strong attention to detail in capturing, tracking, and reporting data. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple inboxes, and meet strict deadlines. • Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions. • Competence in using project management tools, financial systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
