What's involved with this role: JOB TITLE: Planning Lawyer REF: Nuneaton 5268847 Pay rate: £35.00 per hour PAYE Role length: Anticipated one month minimum, with possibility of extension for the right candidate The role: On behalf of a local council, we are seeking a Planning Lawyer to undertake an audit of Agreements the Council has entered into pursuant to Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and produce an analysis of the financial contributions received from those agreements. Key Responsibilities: To undertake an audit of Agreements the Council has entered into pursuant to Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and produce an analysis of the financial contributions received from those agreements This role will involve closely liaising with Officers in the Finance Team to assess which elements of the contributions have been drawn down from the balance sheets and offset against contributions received What the client is looking for: Qualified barrister or solicitor or FILEX (able to obtain or has a current practising certificate) Experience in practice as a qualified solicitor or barrister Knowledge and experience of planning law.
