A specialist ground investigation company in Aberdeen seeks a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer. This company delivers a full range of geotechnical and geo‑environmental services across Scotland, from small residential sites to major commercial and civil engineering projects, supported by an in‑house laboratory and a fleet of modern drilling rigs.
Role Overview
You will play a key part in delivering site investigation projects, combining fieldwork, laboratory work and office‑based reporting.
Responsibilities
* Assist with planning and delivering intrusive ground investigations.
* Log soil, rock and samples to industry standards.
* Supervise site drilling operations and coordinate with drilling teams.
* Gather and organise field data and support the production of factual reports.
* Participate in monitoring, sampling and post‑site visits.
Qualifications
* Degree qualified in Geology, Earth Science, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Science or a similar discipline.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Live in or near Aberdeen (or be willing to relocate).
* Full right to work in the UK.
* Confident communicator with colleagues, drillers and clients.
