We are seeking a Senior Communications & Change Lead to join our team and play a pivotal role within our Finance department. As a senior professional, you will be responsible for managing communications and leading change across our complex, large-scale organisation. The successful candidate will design, deliver, and embed tailored communication strategies and change management plans that align with the programme's objectives, ensuring engagement and adoption across all levels.
Key Accountabilities:
* Lead the communications and change workstream of the global programme, overseeing its planning, execution, and successful implementation.
* Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing strategic insights into communications and change management best practises.
* Identify, engage, and align stakeholders from various levels of the organisation to foster collaboration in planning and implementing changes.
* Collaborate with the project team to support the design and delivery of workshops that engage the business and foster ownership of solutions.
* Ensure open feedback loops throughout the project and adapt business change readiness plans as necessary.
* Partner with internal stakeholders in the programme and the business to ensure the delivery of effective solutions.
* Develop and execute a tailored communication plan for the programme, incorporating existing communications plans and other business changes, ensuring stakeholders have a cohesive view of progress, changes, and milestones.
* Craft clear, compelling messaging and materials tailored to diverse audiences, ensuring effective communication of programme milestones, progress, and changes.
* Proactively identify and address barriers to programme success, demonstrating problem-solving skills and escalation procedures to achieve desired outcomes.
* Monitor and evaluate workstream and programme performance, providing regular updates and reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
Background Required:
* Degree level or Masters/advanced degree.
* Experience in successfully delivering change projects/programmes with high impact on people and ways of working.
* Ability to connect with and manage senior stakeholders.
* Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex strategic ideas to a wide range of audiences.
* Ability to design, plan, and proactively manage change initiatives to completion.
* Extensive experience in a senior communications or change management role, ideally within large, matrixed organisations.
* Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing integrated communications and change strategies for complex, global programmes.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse groups.
* Proven ability to deliver outcomes in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
* Experience facilitating workshops and delivering presentations to senior audiences.
