Job Role Required to provide a high-quality caretaking service, including maintenance and cleaning activities across our sites in Suffolk. You’ll spend 3 of your working days based at our Gibson close site, with the remaining 2 days spent assisting the facilities team at our main site in Wellington Street. Knowledge of Health & Safety compliance checks, water temperature checks, PAT testing is advantageous but not essential as training can be given. Skills and Experience In summary, the successful applicant will have the following qualities: Experience in painting & decorating, minor plumbing and carpentry work. Ability to follow standardised work processes accurately and exercise judgement and initiative within designated areas of responsibility. Knowledge of Health and Safety including COSSH and other relevant statutory requirements Ability to work with young people in a non-judgemental and non-discriminatory manner Full UK driving license essential. Days and hours 22 hours Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 8am to 12pm. Fridays 8am to 2pm. Some flexibility around start and finish times maybe available. After induction, taking part in the maintenance on call rota. Salary and Benefits Salary is £13,087.36, £11.44 per hour.
