The ideal candidate will be expected to manage non-technical opportunities for the local sales region, as well as support the wider customer-facing teams with administrative functions.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 am – 17:30 pm (Hybrid working available)

With 22 facilities across 9 countries, our Ely location is responsible for the Motion Control and Optical Tables product line.
Work Location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement with some travel, based at our purpose-built facility in Witchford, Ely, near Cambridge, accessible by train and bus from London.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the main contact for key customers across segments (scientific, industrial, OEM, channel partners), supporting them with sales-related administrative tasks.
* Collaborate with Customer Development and Tech Sales teams to meet customer needs.
* Develop understanding of customer purchasing requirements and streamline processes (e.g., EDI, punchout catalogs, invoicing).
* Inquire about sales prices for repeat and high-volume orders.
* Manage long-term sales agreements and document in CRM.
* Follow up with OEM customers before contract expiry to generate repeat business.
* Handle system quoting and negotiations related to purchasing processes.
* Qualify new leads and manage opportunities, follow up on large quotes (>£15k).
* Use CRM to manage customer projects and coordinate with other departments.
* Proactively manage customer needs to prevent escalation.
* Coordinate with global offices to fulfill customer requests.
* Provide value-added after-sales administrative support to key customers.
