New Business Account Manager
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact, with genuine autonomy in your role. The position offers a basic salary of £30,000–£35,000, plus a company car and bonus, with an OTE of £50,000.
We are seeking an experienced and driven New Business Account Manager to develop and grow new business opportunities across the NHS, private hospitals, care homes and pharmacies, while also exploring opportunities within the wider private sector.
This role is responsible for generating revenue across the UK and will suit a proactive sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through to installation and onboarding.
The Role
You will have daily contact with customers, both remotely and face-to-face, working with a wide range of stakeholders and decision-makers. The role involves participation in promotional campaigns, structured follow-up, and long-term relationship building to drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop a strong understanding of our products, target markets and competitor landscape
* Identify key decision-makers within relevant clinical and supporting departments
* Analyse customer and market information to develop targeted sales plans
* Identify gaps and offer solutions effectively, overcoming objections creatively
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular contact and site visits
* Actively identify and develop new business opportunities within new and existing accounts
* Generate leads through networking, customer visits and marketing-provided leads
* Qualify and progress sales opportunities in a timely and structured manner
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of opportunities and customer interactions
* Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations to win new business
* Act as the main customer contact for new installations, upgrades, onboarding and training
* Develop and support internal “champions” within customer organisations
* Deliver onsite training and familiarisation sessions to ensure successful product adoption
* Work cross-functionally to feedback sustainability and usage data to customer departments where available
About You
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales or account management, ideally within the NHS, healthcare or medical-related sectors
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills
* Confident working with a wide range of stakeholders and decision-makers
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
* Competent IT user with strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
* Educated to a minimum of 5 GCSEs (A–C / 5–9) or equivalent
* Full, clean UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)
