Assistant Town Planner
At Daniel Watney Partnership we’re looking for an Assistant Town Planner to join our planning team. We’ve just completed an exciting rebrand and are entering a new phase of growth and innovation. Our client base is growing and we’re looking for a talented planner to join our well established, high-performing team.

The Role:
* Support planning applications, appeals, and site appraisals for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments
* Assist with policy reviews and client advice, gaining hands-on experience across the full planning lifecycle
* Work closely with senior planners and multidisciplinary teams to deliver strategic, high-quality outcomes
* Engage with clients and local authorities, building your confidence and professional network
What We’re Looking For:
* 1–2 years’ experience in planning (consultancy, developer, or local authority)
* Degree in Town Planning or related field; working towards MRTPI
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A proactive, curious mindset and a desire to grow in a supportive team
* Exposure to London property consultancy is a plus

* Up to £40,000 per annum (DOE)
