The Agile Category & Sourcing Specialist will be a highly organized, strategic, and communicative individual, providing support across the cost team. This role operates at an expert level and will lead and execute complex cost, procurement, and sourcing initiatives across the bank. Responsibilities include process design, demand optimization, sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and cross-functional leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading end-to-end strategic procurement activities from initiation through execution and close-out.
* Driving cost transformation activities, including reporting, management information, and systems improvements to deliver measurable value.
* Developing and implementing sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
* Partnering with suppliers to deliver market-leading value enhancement programs.
* Ensuring project and supplier due diligence, onboarding, and third-party risk assessments comply with regulatory standards.
* Negotiating complex supplier agreements with a focus on cybersecurity, data privacy, SLAs, and exit strategies.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
* Analyzing spend data, market trends, and supplier performance to inform procurement decisions.
* Tracking performance metrics using tools like Ariba, Cost Plan, and Planview.
* Presenting business cases and project updates to senior stakeholders and executives.
* Driving tangible and intangible business benefits to meet procurement and organizational targets.
* Coaching the business through the sourcing process to ensure market readiness.
* Using fact-based decision-making and storytelling to communicate options to senior stakeholders.
* Contributing to financial planning, including monthly forecasts, spend analysis, and risk assessments.
* Managing and reporting risks, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies.
