Pupil Support Worker Broughton Primary School Salary: £26,337 - £28,835 (pro-rata for part time and sessional) Hours: 27.5 per week, 39 weeks sessional Working pattern for position is Monday - Thursday 8.30 a.m. - 3.15 p.m. and Friday 8.30 a.m. - 12.25 p.m. The is a position in an Enhanced Support Base (ESB) within Broughton Primary School. The ESB meets the needs of learners with complex, long term additional support needs who require a modified learning environment. The needs of learners are primarily associated Autism Spectrum Disorders. Each class has a maximum of 8 learners. Pupil Support Workers work as part of a class team, along with the class teacher, and an EYP to support learners to reach their full potential. We are looking for conscientious, committed candidates with excellent inter-personal and communication skills. There will be many training opportunities to support you in working with our children. It is desirable that applicants should have experience working with children with additional support needs and working in schools.
