Job Responsibilities
* Complete daily accounting entries and conduct system operations accurately and timely.
* Prepare reports for Head Office and regulatory authorities, ensuring on‑time submission with no unexpected issues.
* Collaborate with external tax advisors and provide support for matters related to HMRC (Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs).
* Produce management reports and offer assistance for audits and tax reviews.
* Manage expenses, cash flow, and key balance sheet items effectively.
* Handle reconciliations for Nostro accounts, Vostro accounts, and custodian accounts.
* Provide support for fixed assets management, hedge accounting, and ongoing projects within the finance department.
* Participate in process improvement initiatives and the optimisation of finance systems to enhance work efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
* Possess around 3+ years of accounting experience in a bank environment.
* Hold a Degree in Accounting or Finance.
* ACCA or ACA qualification (qualified or part‑qualified is preferred).
* Demonstrate strong Excel skills, as Excel will be used on a daily basis.
* Be fluent in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
