IGii is looking for a Commercial and Sales Operation Lead to join our rapidly expanding Sales team. The Commercial and Sales Operation Lead will be focused on building and running the operational commercial backbone that powers customer execution and scale. Your purpose in the Role: You will be the organiser, coordinator and execution driver behind the Sales team, knowing every customer, living every action, and owning the operational flow that delivers the needs and wants of the customer’s customer. You will provide the administration and execution spine of the Sales team in 2026 and beyond, delivering central coordination across Sales, Finance, Ops and Marketing, and ensuring that follow-through happens automatically. What you will do: You’ll be the person who brings clarity, pace and operational excellence to our commercial engine, keeping programmes moving, ensuring teams are prepared, and making sure customers experience a seamless, professional journey from first conversation to final delivery. Your main accountabilities will be: Commercial Programme Coordination You’ll keep our highest‑value customer programmes on track, always knowing the status, the next step and who needs to deliver it. You’ll bring structure that prevents drift and ensures every interaction feels consistent and well‑managed. Sales Team Execution Support You’ll enable our Sales Directors to operate at their best. From preparing for key conversations to ensuring follow‑up happens fast and flawlessly, you’ll help the team move with discipline, momentum and confidence. Commercial Document & Asset Management You’ll be the person the team trusts to keep everything organised and up‑to‑date — from customer decks to contract templates to pricing references. You’ll make it easy for people to find the right version, first time. CRM & Pipeline Coordination You’ll make sure our CRM (Hubspot) is always up to date and pipeline data is accurate, current and genuinely useful. Through consistent attention to detail, you’ll help create visibility for leadership and drive better commercial decisions. Contract & Process Coordination You’ll guide commercial agreements through their lifecycle: coordinating inputs, spotting delays early, and ensuring nothing gets stuck. You’ll keep everyone aligned and accountable. Travel, Conference & Event Execution You’ll handle the logistics that keep our commercial team moving including managing travel, customer visits and conference preparation so the team can turn up focused and ready to perform. External Partner Coordination (PR / Digital) You’ll be the operational link between our internal commercial priorities and the partners who support our brand and visibility, ensuring smooth communication and timely delivery. Sales ‑ to ‑ Cash Flow & Internal Handovers You’ll help the full commercial process run smoothly, keeping paperwork, internal workflows and customer queries flowing without friction, and stepping in early when something needs unblocking. What success will look like: Our Sales team operate with even greater speed and clarity, supported by strong commercial infrastructure Our customers experience consistent, professional follow‑through Sales materials are organised, current, and easy to access The sales pipeline is disciplined, accurate, and visible Our Sales Directors spend more of their time with customers and strategic opportunities, enabled by streamlined operational support Execution becomes increasingly structured, predictable and scalable as we grow. Who we are looking for: We’re looking for a highly capable operator who brings calm precision, earns trust at every level, rolls up their sleeves for whatever needs doing, holds others accountable through structure rather than hierarchy, and genuinely loves being the person who makes the whole machine run smoothly. Experience & skills Proven experience in a Sales or Commercial Operations role, or a senior coordination role, supporting enterprise or strategic accounts A relevant scientific degree or proven commercial operations experience that equips you to dive into fast‑moving environments that bring real‑world impact Mastery of operational coordination: action tracking, stakeholder management, and deadline discipline Comfortable working with CRM tools (HubSpot experience is a plus) and maintaining accurate data, clear pipelines and meaningful reports Strong document and asset control: versioning, templates, approvals Familiarity with commercial agreements (NDA, SoW, JDA, MSA) and coordinating legal/operational inputs Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, including confidence in communicating with customers and senior members of the team, and preparing executive‑ready packs Shows strong interpersonal awareness, good judgement, and a calm, solutions‑oriented approach under pressure Comfortable operating in a high‑growth, fast‑moving environment with evolving processes The following experience is desirable, but not essential for the role: Experience in science, deep‑tech, advanced manufacturing or similar B2B environments Exposure to pricing structures and proposal development Event/conference planning and customer visit orchestration.
