About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (Healthcare Recruitment) to drive growth for our nursing agency by securing new client partnerships across the UK healthcare sector.

You will be responsible for onboarding NHS trusts, private hospitals, care homes, and large private care home groups onto our supplier panel, while building and maintaining long-term client relationships.

This is a high-impact role suited to someone with proven experience in healthcare staffing sales and NHS client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and approach NHS Trusts, private hospitals, and care home groups
* Add the agency to approved supplier panels and frameworks
* Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement teams and decision-makers
* Develop new business opportunities for Nurses and Healthcare Assistants (HCAs)
* Maintain accurate CRM records (contacts, emails, follow-ups, pipeline updates)
* Track daily business development activities and performance metrics
* Attend client meetings (virtual or in-person where required)
* Manage existing accounts and increase service utilisation
* Work closely with the recruitment team to align supply with client demand

Requirements

* 2–4 years' experience in Business Development within a Nursing or Healthcare Recruitment Agency
* Proven track record of onboarding NHS and private healthcare clients
* Experience working with:
* NHS Trusts
* Private Hospitals
* Care Homes (including large chains)
* Strong understanding of supplier frameworks and healthcare procurement processes
* Experience placing Nurses and Healthcare Assistants (HCAs)
* Strong CRM experience (updating pipelines, tracking KPIs, managing data)
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and organised

Preferred (Desirable)

* Existing network within NHS procurement or private healthcare groups
* Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements
* Experience working with workforce frameworks

Pay: £36,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
