Role Overview:
We are seeking a confident and creative SEN Sports Coach to lead group sessions and deliver one-to-one sports sessions for children with a variety of needs.
This is not just a coaching role – you'll be part of a supportive network, shaping session plans, contributing to events, and growing with our team.
We are only looking for applicants who:
* Have a minimum of 1 year's experience working directly with children with Special Educational Needs (non-negotiable).
* Are passionate about making a genuine impact, not just looking for a pay check.
* Are reliable, consistent, and committed to helping our children and families thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging sports sessions tailored to the needs of each child or group.
* Lead sessions confidently, ensuring every child feels safe, included, and supported.
* Work closely with families and our team to track progress and adapt sessions where needed.
* Contribute to community events, special programmes, and the ongoing development of SEN Sports LTD.
* Maintain a professional and positive image, representing our values at all times.
* Be proactive, solution-focused, and ready to think on your feet when challenges arise.
What We're Looking For:
* Essential: Minimum 1 year of experience working with SEN children (e.g., autism, ADHD, developmental delays, etc.).
* Enhanced DBS check
* Strong leadership skills with the confidence to take charge of sessions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Creative, adaptable, and able to improvise when needed.
* Passion for sports, physical education, and child development.
* Reliable, consistent, and committed to weekend availability.
* Team player who contributes to the growth and vision of SEN Sports Club.
Desirable Skills/Qualifications:
* Sports coaching qualifications or relevant certifications (e.g., Level 2 Coaching, PE, SEN training).
* Experience working in both group and one-to-one settings.
* First Aid and Safeguarding certifications (or willingness to obtain).

Hours & Pay:
* Weekend sessions (Saturdays and/or Sundays).
* Additional sessions may become available as the club expands.
* Pay dependent on experience and qualifications.
