Job Title: Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding
Location: Chelmsford, Essex (modern office, minutes from the train station)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + uncapped bonus (lifetime account earnings)

Key Responsibilities:
Developing new business opportunities across air, sea, and road freight services
Building and maintaining strong client relationships, managing accounts long-term
Identifying and targeting potential customers through proactive sales activity
Collaborating closely with the operations team to deliver seamless service to clients
Working towards agreed revenue and GP targets with uncapped earning potential
Representing the company professionally in meetings, events, and client presentations
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience in freight forwarding sales / business development
Strong knowledge of international freight services (air, ocean, or road)
Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport and long-lasting client relationships
Results-driven, ambitious, and keen to grow with a developing UK team
Self-motivated with excellent negotiation and presentation skills
