Overview
Electrical Project Manager role focused on coordinating and delivering electrical projects. Responsibilities include collating technical submittals, raising and managing RFIs, maintaining weekly progress reports, liaising with main contractors and the client-based site team, overseeing plant and equipment delivery, ensuring materials are available, managing construction and commissioning programmes, generating snag lists, and managing K&M handover and document management.
Responsibilities
* Become familiar with all details and specifications of the project.
* Ultimately responsible for collating technical submittals and following through until approval.
* Raise and manage RFIs.
* Maintain weekly Progress Reports and manage changes/variations.
* Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.
* Oversee coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment.
* Ensure adequate materials are available to complete the project.
* Ensure construction and commissioning programmes are in place and implement the commissioning plan on site.
* Generate biweekly/monthly snag lists and improvements.
* Manage K&M handover process and maintain the K&M Document Management System.
* Attend meetings with Sub Contractors to ensure on-time delivery.
* Attend general site meetings and action points raised.
* Communicate any innovative project-specific works to Contracts Manager (R&D).
* Project-specific scheduling.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in an Electrical Project Manager or similar role.
* Successful track record of delivering large-scale projects.
* Qualification in Construction/Project Management is preferred.
* Experience of supervising teams.
