QHSE Coordinator Overview We are recruiting on behalf of an established engineering company for a proactive QHSE Coordinator. This is a key role supporting compliance and continuous improvement across all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) processes. You'll work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure ISO standards are effectively implemented and a strong safety and quality culture is maintained across the business. Key Responsibilities * Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 systems * Conduct internal QHSE audits across offices, workshops, and project sites * Ensure QHSE is integrated into all phases of design, planning, fabrication, and installation * Facilitate risk assessments and review of method statements for engineering activities * Investigate incidents, non-conformances, and near-misses, and support root cause analysis * Deliver induction training, toolbox talks, and QHSE briefings * Monitor QHSE metrics, analyse trends, and recommend improvements * Liaise with clients, contractors, and external bodies to ensure compliance throughout project execution Required Experience * Minimum 3 years’ experience in a QHSE role within engineering or manufacturing * Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 * Experience with audits, corrective actions, and compliance documentation * Familiarity with engineering workflows, tools, and safety practices * Proficient with Microsoft Office and QHSE software tools Desirable Qualifications and Skills * Internal Auditor certification (ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001) * IOSH Managing Safely (or working towards) * HNC/HND or equivalent in engineering or a technical subject * First Aid or Fire Warden training * Understanding of CDM Regulations and engineering project environments Key Attributes * Detail-oriented with strong organisation and time management skills * Effective communicator with confidence to engage at all levels * Proactive problem solver with a hands-on approach * Resilient and adaptable under pressure * Committed to continuous improvement and maintaining high QHSE standards Location: Gloucester Industry: Engineering / Manufacturing Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Reporting to: QHSE Manager Salary: DOE Please respond with an up to date CV to be considered
