Beauty Works operates internationally to both to salon professional and directly to consumers and is owned by a Beauty Industry Group based in Salt Lake City and has the largest share of the hair extensions market in the world.
Job Summary
The E-commerce & Trading Manager is part of the wider Marketing team and is responsible for all website and marketplace trading for both B2C & B2B sites. You will be primarily responsible for the trading and promotional calendar, merchandising and reporting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with Magento (or equivalent) and seller central platforms and have a thorough understanding of on-site trading & merchandising initiatives that drive sales through e-commerce.
Role Outline
* Develop the trading and promotional strategy for B2B & B2C customers in 2026.
* Develop the marketplace propositions on Amazon & TikTok ensuring that search insights are reported weekly, product range reviews are agreed and merchandised and A+ and native product content and reviews are improved and developed to drive sales.
* Work with the Beauty Industry Group International Sales teams to support trading and E-commerce initiatives for HTG & Bellami brands within the Group.
* Work with the wider Marketing and Sales team to co-ordinate trading activations and ensure communication is clear and effective
* Work closely with the wider Key Accounts team on a comprehensive trading, pricing and promotional strategy which supports growth not competition across DTC websites
* Work with the Ecommerce [UX] Manager to Implement website tools that enable us to drive better conversions and produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for senior leadership, with clear actionable takeaways and recommendations for growth.
* Work closely with Brand, E-commerce & Performance Managers within the Marketing team to support the launch of the Beauty Works micro loyalty incentives and rewards program that supports our retention KPIs, improves content creation and reduces overt discounting.
* You will have 3 direct reports and be expected to set their personal objectives that are aligned to business priorities along with their personal development plans.
Candidate Profile
* 5+ years' experience in marketing or Trading role either client-side retail or agency environment - preferably with hair / beauty experience.
* Proficient in Excel – ability to extract and present data with clear actionable insights from trading data
* Magento e-commerce experience essential, Amazon Seller Central, TikTok Seller Marketplace experience desired
* Experience using onsite merchandising tools
* Excellent communicator – able to give clarity on performance indicators and set direction for strategy
* An enthusiasm for the Beauty Works brand, its communities and popular culture
* Ability to form good working relationships with internal teams and external clients
* Project management skills and strong organisational skills
* Ability to switch between projects simultaneously whilst also being able to think longer term
