We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to become part of our dedicated team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff. Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary teams across General Practices in Dundee, you will play a key role in delivering safe, effective, patient-centred care.
The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent clinical knowledge and interpersonal skills, proactive and committed to continuous professional development, passionate about improving patient outcomes through highquality pharmaceutical care and keen to contribute to the growth and innovation of our Pharmacy service
In a typical week, you will:
1. Support pharmacy technicians and assistants with medicines reconciliation following hospital discharge or outpatient review
2. Provide expert advice and resolve medication-related queries from patients and healthcare professionals
3. Undertake medication reviews and deliver clinical activities in GP practices, including independent prescribing
4. Participate in practice and multidisciplinary team meetings
5. Line manage and mentor pharmacists undertaking training and development (independent prescribing, post-registration foundation programmes)
6. Lead or contribute to service development projects aligned with your interests, such as quality improvement, sustainability, clinical specialities or leadership initiatives
