What you will be doing:
* Leading
a team of Health Care Assistants, acting as a positive role model and
trusted point of support.
* Assisting
with personal care, meals and daily living tasks.
* Administering
medication (following training and guidelines).
* Updating
care plans and maintaining accurate records.
* Delivering
the highest standard of person-centred care, promoting dignity, independence
and wellbeing for every resident.
* Maintaining
a clean, organised and hygienic environment.
* Supporting
family members and visitors.
What you need to succeed:
* At
least a minimum of 2 years’ experience in delivering care or as a Senior
Care Assistant.
* Level
3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or willing to sign up/or
working towards it).
* Trained
in medication administration.
* Excellent
people and customer service skills.
* Ability
to induct, supervise and mentor junior staff.
* Time
management skills to delegate tasks within a team.
* Good
communication skills – verbal (great communication within the team and to
other external professionals) and writing (ability to write and maintain
care plans) and digital skills.
* Caring
attitude.

and reliable.
