We are always looking for talented and experienced Homeware Designers to join our Talent Pool for future opportunities.
Our Designers at Next focus on trend, innovation, and creating new Homeware designs to meet our customers' needs.
Your role
* Designing Homeware collections across various categories, ensuring alignment with the brand’s aesthetic and market needs.
* Conducting trend research and identifying commercial opportunities, recognizing emerging styles for diverse customer profiles.
* Collaborating with buying and merchandising teams to develop ranges that fit Next Home's style and pricing strategy.
* Working with manufacturers to guide product development, including trips and inspiration travels.
* Communicating ideas through mood boards, sketches, and technical drawings to brief manufacturers effectively.
About you
* Strong presentation skills with experience in presenting ideas to stakeholders.
* Experience as a Homeware Assistant Designer, ideally across multiple products.
* Proficiency in CAD software and Adobe Creative Suite for technical drawings and visualizations.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build product ranges that meet customer and business expectations.
* Degree or equivalent in a related field, with hands-on industry experience.
