SEND Teaching Assistant (Complex Needs & SEMH) Job Summary
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have a range of Special Educational Needs, particularly Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will provide support in both group and one-to-one settings within the classroom environment.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting with the planning, preparation and delivery of learning activities.
* Adapting support approaches to suit individual pupil needs.
* Promoting pupil progress and emotional development.
* Gaining practical experience supporting pupils with complex learning and behavioural challenges.
