This role not only offers hands-on experience but also leads to a nationally recognized qualification and accreditation!
Key Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Engineering Technician, you will become an integral part of our dynamic Engineering Team. This position promises a variety of tasks and invaluable on-the-job training. Here’s what you can expect:
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Complete a comprehensive training program within the Engineering Department, covering both Electrical & Electronic and Mechanical engineering.
* Perform electrical wiring tasks, from lighting to high-speed manufacturing equipment.
* Assemble mechanical components such as pumps, motors, and valves.
* Conduct electrical control testing and fault finding.
* Participate in onsite installation, commissioning, and machine modifications.
* Carry out routine maintenance on modern food manufacturing equipment.
* Program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).

* Completion of the first year of an engineering apprenticeship.
Experience/Knowledge:
* Demonstrable interest in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) through educational, vocational, or extra-curricular activities.
