This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our dedicated and dynamic nursing team on ward D5, a general surgery ward. Every day presents new challenges and learning opportunities. Our multidisciplinary team includes Advanced Clinical Practitioners specializing in general surgery and colorectal care.
Main duties of the job
As a Sister/Charge Nurse at SFT, you will work within your scope of practice, lead teams, support operational flow, facilitate discharges, and ensure the wellbeing of our junior staff. You will act as NIC and deputize in the absence of the ward manager.

Qualifications
* Post-registration qualification in general surgery or adult nursing or equivalent
Additional Qualifications
* Mentorship qualification or equivalent experience
Experience
* Experience in change management, QI work, and stoma care
Skills
* Experience with colorectal nursing care, including NG/NJ/complex wound care
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This position is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. A DBS check is required.
Salary range: £37,338 to £44,962 per annum, pro rata.
