This is an office-based role, based at our Netley House office, Gomshall.
We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a new Office Administrator for our Building Pathology acquisition, playing a vital role in supporting our business growth. Due to SOCOTEC UK's expansion and the recent acquisition of Hutton & Rostron, we are growing our teams and welcoming new colleagues to represent SOCOTEC with pride.
About H&R
Hutton & Rostron are renowned building professionals and surveyors, specializing in investigating issues related to buildings, materials, and occupancy. They are committed to innovation, customer service, and regulatory excellence, earning a strong reputation as a trusted partner in the built environment.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
The responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Managing and tracking survey report production, liaising with surveyors to ensure timely delivery and proofing.
Supporting the implementation of new systems.
Arranging internal and external meetings.
Managing the office calendar.
Organizing domestic travel and accommodations.
Supporting credit control processes.
Assisting Directors with written communications.
To succeed, you should demonstrate:
Proven experience as an administrator or in a similar support role.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Effective stakeholder engagement, both internally and externally.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
A problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.
Ability to work well within a close-knit team.
