Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Operations Manager located at our office in Manchester. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing our Event Staffing department. Duties will include sourcing, booking, and managing engagement professionals for various trade shows and events worldwide. Day-to-day tasks include liaising with clients to understand their needs, coordinating with the team to ensure smooth execution, handling contracts and schedules, and ensuring that staff are well-trained and prepared for their roles. The Operations Manager will also be responsible for maintaining and expanding our network of professionals, ensuring high standards of performance and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
* Experience in project management, talent recruitment, event planning, or a related field
* Strong organisational and coordination skills
* Excellent communication and client management abilities
* Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Experience in training and managing event staff
* Proficiency in using talent management software and tools
* Knowledge of trade show dynamics and attendee engagement
* Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred
