An opportunity has arisen within the Neonatal Unit for a nursery nurse to join our team. We are a local neonatal unit with 14 cots, including 2 intensive care, 2 high dependency, and 10 special care cots, along with a 4-bed transitional care unit, caring for mothers and small babies.
If you are an enthusiastic and highly motivated nursery nurse aiming to deliver high-quality, family-centered care, this opportunity is for you.
You should be currently practicing as a nursery nurse, have completed an NVQ Level 3 in childcare, and maintain excellent standards of nursing practice. Opportunities for neonatal skills development, further education, and training are actively supported.
The successful applicant will need to be flexible regarding work areas and willing to work days, nights, and weekends. Part-time hours will be considered.
Responsibilities include working within the NNU as part of a multidisciplinary team, promoting family-centered care, providing high standards of nursing care under supervision, assessing patients, planning and implementing care, maintaining records, and ensuring effective communication with colleagues, parents, and carers.
