We are fortunate to count Toyota as one of our brands, and due to continued success, we are on the lookout for an Assistant Sales Manager at our Exeter dealership to help drive the sales of this Snows Toyota Franchise.
As Assistant Sales Manager, you will identify and develop prospects, working with individual customers to understand their needs and guide them towards the most appropriate product to agree the sale.
Your day will include:
* Working towards the agreed set targets which will deliver the desired income goals for both the Team and the Dealership
* Having a good knowledge of finance and insurance products and being able to explain and sell the features and benefits
* Generating more sales through prospecting and customer follow-ups via the existing database
* Identifying “hot” prospects and planning all future contact in a structured manner to progress them to the next stage in the sales process and ultimately make a sale
* Using digital marketing and effective telephone communication to seek and obtain appointments
* Assisting in training on various brand and group systems and mentoring new members of the Sales Team
* Promoting product knowledge within the sales team at every opportunity
* Establishing a good rapport to encourage and develop long-term relationships with customers and prospects
* Deputising in the absence of the Sales Manager when not in the business

* Proficient in PC, Microsoft Office, web, and social media
* Valid driving licence
* Proven sales track record with financial and insurance solutions
* In-depth knowledge of financial systems including Connect online, TCF SAF, and Manufacturer systems

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 08:30 - 18:00 (with 1 hour for lunch)
Saturday 08:30 - 17:00 (with 1 hour for lunch), with a rota day off in the week.
